How to travel x1000 faster through the Universe – and not have a bad trip:Exciting news! The University of Luxembourg is proud to announce that in collaboration with the Interstellar Research Group, Initiative & Institute for Initiative for Interstellar Studies, Breakthrough Prize Foundation, and Luxembourg Space Agency, we are organizing the 1st European Interstellar Symposium in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.
Interstellar travel raises some of the most profound questions about our place and future in the universe, and this interdisciplinary symposium aims to foster exchange on various aspects of interstellar travel. Join us to explore topics such as human and robotic exploration, propulsion, potential destinations (including exoplanet research), life support systems, habitats, power systems, communications, system reliability, psychology, crew health, anthropology, legal regimes, and ethics.
A particular focus of the symposium will be on how technologies and insights from this research will lead to near-term applications on Earth and in space. The symposium will cover technologies such as optical communications, photonics, ultra-lightweight materials, and artificial intelligence.
Don't miss this opportunity to be part of a community of experts and enthusiasts, all working towards a common goal.
