Join us for a walk through the park to explore the vital role urban parks play in our local ecosystems and communities.You will encounter a variety of native plants and oak trees on your tour. The park features accessible pathways that wind through its natural landscapes and historic buildings, with only slight changes in elevation. Some sections of the hike may take you onto the lawn areas for a closer look at points of interest.
No registration is necessary!

Times: 11:30 am and 1:00 pm
Please meet at the bridge between the ponds in the center of the park (located between the State Indian Museum and Sutter's Fort). Remember to bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for a light walk in Sacramento.
Metered parking is available throughout the park grounds.
The State Indian Museum and Sutter's Fort SHP will be closed for the holiday but the surrounding park grounds are open and accessible for visitors to enjoy.
