Take a First Day Hike at your own pace on our trails!
Join us for a tradition around the nation as we hike on New Years Day! This hike will be self-guided with an optional plant and wildlife list to take with you on your hike. Simply check in at the Texas Oak Trailhead, take your hike between 9:30 and 11:30 am, and stop by our ranger table when you are finished to receive a First Day Hike sticker! Make sure to tag us on social media if you take pictures! Check out our guided First Day Hikes as well!
