A 4 mile hike mostly along the Etowah. Starting at Central Park in River Green subdivision just off Hwy 20 W, we will take the big loop around the rive and come bak along Heritage Trail. It takes about 2.5 hours, is very flat for the first 3 miles then there are 2 stream crossings and a steep climb up to the back of Lakeside around the 3 mile mark.
Bring plenty water and snacks, binoculars and dress for the weather.
Dr. Richard Abbott will be leading this hike.
