Let the natural world welcome you into the New Year on our 6th Annual First Day Forest Bathing Walk at magnificent Mueller State Park in Divide. These are always a highlight of our year of walks! Find joy immersing in the wonder & healing nature offers through this mindful practice gaining popularity worldwide. Join Forest Therapy Guide Jane Scanlon and Above the Clouds Forest Bathing exploring a beautiful hidden ridge with thoughtful invitations to quiet your mind, open your senses & imagination and connect closely with the yourself and the land. We close with a special tea ceremony, using carefully foraged local plants.
1 mile, minimal elevation change.
We meet at the Outlook Ridge trailhead, just past Visitor Center on the left. Restrooms are open.
Bring sit pad/stool or ground cover if you have one (loaners available) water & dress for changing weather (snow boots, waterproof pants suggested) There are opportunities to sit (or lie down as you feel led).
Ages 12 and up recommended.
Offered free of charge with park admission of $10 per car. Donations requested to the Friends of Mueller State Park (bring cash or check, or option of Venmo at the event)
