
First Coast Poetry Showcase ~ Launch into National Poetry Month
Jacksonville Florida – Come to the fourth annual First Coast Poetry Showcase being held March 29th from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Southeast Regional Library in Jacksonville Florida where members of the North Florida Poetry Hub A Gathering of Poets Women Writing For (a) Change and Elan Literary Magazine come together for an early celebration of National Poetry Month with poetry readings announcement of winning student poetry contestants book signings and camaraderie with literary friends.
Hear great poetry and learn what these four amazing poetry groups are doing. Meet well-known poets like Shutta Crum, Chris Kastle and Sharon Scholl. The Gathering of Poets will announce the winners of the fourth annual First Coast Young Voices Student Poetry Contests. Students will read their winning poems. You don’t want to miss this amazing pre-cursor to the National Poetry Month event.
