OFF BOOK – THE IMPROVISED MUSICAL
Off Book: The Improvised Musical is a musical theatre podcast hosted by Jessica McKenna and Zach Reino. The show improvises a new musical every episode based on their guests' introduction.
Zach Reino and Jessica McKenna are better known as the musical sketch duo The Zach and The Jess. They’ve written songs and musical sketches for Rick and Morty, Party Over Here (FOX), Buzzfeed, FunnyOrDie, and Nickelodeon. They created and starred in “Serious Music,” a digital series for ABC, and their weekly improvised musical podcast “Off Book” has been praised by various online publications including Indie Wire, USA Today, Parade, AV Club and Splitsider. The podcast has also performed live all over the world, including at Comedy Central’s Clusterfest, SF Sketchfest, Bumbershoot, Moontower, and Just for Laughs.
