First Annual Paella On The River Walk Patio

While Ambler can’t take you to Spain, we can bring Spain right to you on the San Antonio River Walk. Join world-renowned flamenco guitarist Randy Cordero and Ambler Texas Kitchen + Cocktails for an intimate evening of food, sangria, and flamenco. This is not a formal flamenco affair but a one-of-a kind-experience that includes:

Game Paella - quail, pork belly, rabbit, Spanish chorizo

Seafood Paella - shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops

Veggie Paella - bell peppers, artichokes, asparagus, peas, okra, sweet potato, (made with veggie stock) Vegetarian.

Weather: This event will be hosted outdoors. We understand that it is hot here. To keep guests cool, guests will receive a folding hand fan upon check-in, self-serve water station outside, and we will provided designated seating in our lounge area inside to cool off. The outdoor patio at Ambler is shaded and cooler than most areas on the River Walk.

Paella: Our culinary team will put together a live presentation on cooking the 3 different paellas. The cooking demonstration will begin at 6:30 PM. Paella will be ready to serve at 7:30 PM. Disclaimer
: Paella is made fresh in large batches, therefore, we cannot accommodate substitutions to the paella.

Check-in: Check-in for guests will be at the hostess stand at Ambler located on level R.

Welcome Drink & Sangria Station: Each guest will receive a complimentary Sangria. A ticket for the sangria will be given upon check-in and can be redeemed during the event. VIPS guests have the option to all you can (responsibly drink) sangria during the period of 6 pm to 9 pm. Sangria is made in house.

Seating & Ambler’s Patio: VIPs will have designated seating outside. All patio seating and tallboys will be open and first come first serve. We are not have designated seating for general admission. This is a communal social event primarily outdoors with communal lounge seating inside at the Atrium.

Entertainment: Live music will be performed from 6 pm to 9 pm. The dance and song performance will begin at 8 pm.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. We will check you in by name. You can bring a copy in your phone as proof of purchase.
