About this Event
I have also decided to go ahead and launch my ‘First and Quirky Vauxhall Walk’ – those that know me will know how much research I put into these walks. This one is about 3 miles long and will last 2 ½ - 3 hours (although there will be opportunities for a ‘rest break’). Its really a walk of 2 halves from the leafy back streets, to the sky scrapers along the River Thames, parks, gardens, model villages and famous film sets are just some of the highlights. We cover sporting, transport, political and architectural firsts to name but a few. Now perhaps you can understand why its such a long walk! It has been tried and tested by a few friends who have thoroughly enjoyed it, especially ending at the rather appropriately named ‘Black Dog’ pub for a chat and Q and A. I do hope you will be able to join me on one of these walks.
