This course is aimed at Trinity staff in a First Aider role who are required to recertify every 2 years.The course will be facilitated by the Shorcontrol Safety.The comprehensive 2 day (1 day online and 1 day on campus) First Aid Refresher course will cover all aspects of the Occupational First Aid requirements as outlined by the Health & Safety Authority and Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council.
The course is broken down into 11 units and includes Cardiac First Responder training in automated external defibrillators and administering aspirin for suspected heart attack.
All delegates receive a comprehensive First Aid manual.

Cancellation Charge: There is no cost for staff attending the below courses but you will be asked for a departmental cost code on booking. Your department will be liable for a charge of €75 for 4 working days’ cancellation notice and €150 for 48 hours’ notice or non-attendance. Cancellations must be made by email to [email protected].
Approval for Attendance: Please note that your manager needs to be aware of any planned absence from your area. Please discuss with your manager/head of school in advance of booking.
