This 4-hour course is ideal for anyone who doesn’t require NZQA unit standards to learn the basics of first aid!
You’ll learn how to:
Assess for and manage dangers or hazards
Perform CPR and defibrillation
Manage life-threatening bleeding and shock
Manage major injuries – including amputation, crush injuries, gunshot wounds, stab wounds, impalement, and internal bleeding
Manage fractures and dislocations
Identify mental distress and build resilience
