FIRM DAY 2025

Cal Poly Pomona’s Department of Architecture faculty, students and alumni invite you to FIRM DAY 2025.

The event is open to architecture, multidisciplinary, government, non-profit or any other type of firm, agency or organization interested in hiring students of architecture.

This event will be IN-PERSON but we also offer a VIRTUAL ACCESS ticket.

Firm Day IN-PERSON, January 21st, 2025

8:30 am Firm + Vendor Load-In (light breakfast will be provided)

9:00 am Firm Day Begins with welcoming remarks

9:15 am Interviews start

12:00 pm Working Lunch (boxed lunches will be provided)

4:00 pm Event Concludes

Firm Day VIRTUAL ACCESS, January 21st - March 25th, 2025

Virtual tickets give firms access to online tools such as student profiles and the Student Interest List to connect and communicate. Starting January 21st virtual interviews may be scheduled for any date/time and through the platform of their choosing. Virtual tickets will NOT have a table at the in-person event.

Student Interest List

Students sign-up on an on-going basis. Firms will have access to the Student Interest Database where firms can find links to work samples and resumes to pre-select and contact students they wish to interview at the event.

All registered firms will also be provided with Customized Firm Interest Database where students have expressed interest in specific firms. This helps narrow the firm's hiring scope when reviewing work samples.

Setting up Interviews

During the event, participating firms are able to utilize their spaces to interview students that have been pre-selected as well as students that walk up and present their work.

All revenue associated with this event directly supports the event. All participants, including students and faculty, are provided lunch and refreshments thanks to the support of participating firms. Any profit from the event is directly returned to the department to support ongoing department activities.
