Friends of Ocklynge PTA are delighted to announce we will be running our fireworks night on Saturday 15th November for families and friends of Ocklynge Junior School!
The Farlaine Road gate will open at 5pm and firing time for the fireworks will be 7pm. Please arrive in plenty of time as queues are likely if everyone arrives close to the time the fireworks are to be fired. The fireworks will be displayed by Frontier Fireworks and is a low noise display. This means the noise level are only 25% of usual firework displays.
This year we have the option to pre-order food with your ticket.
Pre-ordered food can be collected from the carpark. Krispy Kreme doughnuts and other sweet treats will be available. Help us reduce waste by bringing your own reusable cup for hot drinks at the refreshments stations. Come and get some light up goodies from our Globar!
We’ll have a scavenger hunt and a selection of games stalls to keep the kids entertained so do hunt out some small change for an evening of fun and games.
Please note that games will be cash & tokens only. Tokens will be available to purchase from refreshment areas. Refreshment areas will be accepting cash and card.
We will be selling tickets in advance only and numbers are strictly limited, so grab your tickets whilst you can! Under 2’s go free.
It is wonderful to be able to invite families from school to enjoy this fabulous event, have fun and support our school PTA at the same time. We hope that many of you will be able to join us this year.

EVENT RULES:
This is a ticket only event. There will be no tickets available to buy on the gate, on the night.
Please bring a copy of your tickets on your phone or a print out on the night as these will be scanned for entrance and used to give out tokens for pre-ordered food.
Under 18’s must attend with an accompanying adult.
This is a non-smoking event and please do not bring alcohol, fireworks or sparklers onto school grounds.

VOLUNTEERS:
This event will not be able to go ahead without a team of volunteers. We need volunteers to help before, after and during the event and would be very grateful for your help. Please see the volunteer link for the list of different roles needed to help make this event a success. Thank you!
