MOLLY BERNSTEIN
Molly Bernstein is filmmaker/editor with a long-standing and passionate interest in the craft of storytelling and the history of world cinema. She has worked in the documentary field as a director, producer, and editor, and is currently a professor at UNCSA's School of Filmmaking. Bernstein has explored fictional narrative filmmaking extensively through documentary work she made about movies and directors (for Sundance Channel, AMC, and The Criterion Collection). She learned the craft of editing by assisting on feature films by directors like Martin Scorsese, Arthur Penn, Melvin Van Peebles, Julie Dash, and Allison Anders.
STEVEN COZART
Steven Cozart is an artist, educator, and documentarian who loves to draw and, despite being colorblind, enjoys painting. Most of his work is figurative and reflects thoughts and musings regarding his own life, circumstances, and events that he has experienced over the years. You may recognize Steven from our 2020-2021 exhibition, πππππ: ππ°π―π€π¦π±π΅ & ππ³π’π§π΅.
