Fired Art Expo is the most exciting hands-on fired arts educational event and trade show offered in the Midwest. This show has been around for over 40 years and has recently evolved from a traditional hobby ceramic event to now include clay, molds, bisque, tools, colors and some of the best workshops from many of the top instructors in the industry. The goal of this event is to eventually cover all forms of fired arts and this year will also include some glass methods. We look to expand and grow this event each year.
2024 will be a year of tremendous growth with our headline instructors. These amazing instructors each have a unique following that will draw more attendees to the event for workshops, and students excited about new techniques they’ve learned want to shop with the vendors to purchase supplies. Attendees to this event in the past has grown to near 600. This year our goal is to surpass 1,500. Rooms and airfare are already being booked domestic and international students. Participants are anxious to schedule their workshops when registration opens in late March.
