SURVEY OF US FEDERAL FIREARMS LAW - 2024

Presented by attorney and judicial candidate Zach McCormick.

Zach McCormick has practiced law in Florida for nearly 15 years in both the public and private sector and his law firm currently handles civil litigation matters throughout the Circuit. In addition Zach is admitted to the US Federal Middle District of Florida and is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Mediator at both the Circuit and County levels, he is Arbitrator Qualified and serves a the code enforcement special magistrate for the town of Howey in the Hills. Zach has previously presented to the Straight Shooters Club in the Villages on National Firearms Act (NFA) trusts and has represented citizens on firearms-related matters ranging from the creation of 'gun trusts' to loss of firearms rights and negotiation with the BATFE on approvals of tax-form applications and special opinion letters.

Zach is currently running for the position of Circuit Judge (seat 13), in the 5th Judicial Circuit (encompassing Lake, Sumter, Marion, Citrus and Hernando Counties) in the August 20, 2024 'open primary' election.
