About this Event
Minimum age for this class is 10 years old.
Traditional in-person courses are available to all students and are taught by trained, certified volunteer instructors who meet state and international standards. Volunteer instructors provide valuable information to new hunters, resources, and support. In-person courses provide students the opportunity to ask questions of instructors and gain further guidance. Session one students will receive their homework and start the class syllabus. Homework is returned at the start of the second session.
There is a $10 fee to complete a traditional in-person course to help cover facility rental or cleaning costs.
This course is done in two sessions.
Session One: Wednesday April 2nd 6pm-9pm. Students will receive their homework assignment and start the class covering law, ethics, and landowner relations.
Session two: Saturday April 12th, 8am-3pm, Students will turn in their homework and participate in the firearms handling, map and compass, survival, and more.
