3 hours to gain the confidence, skills and legal awareness to protect lives in your workplace.
About this Event

Every business in Northern Ireland is required to have trained Fire Wardens. In an emergency, these are the people who take charge — raising the alarm, leading evacuations, assisting vulnerable occupants, and liaising with the Fire & Rescue Service.

Could your team carry out this responsibility effectively if the alarm sounded today?

This interactive 3-hour workshop gives Fire Wardens the essential knowledge and hands-on practice they need to respond with confidence. Delivered by Diamond Systems — life safety and security specialists since 1987 — it combines compliance, practical demonstrations, and real-world learning.

✅ What You’ll Learn
  • Fire Safety Law in Northern Ireland – your responsibilities under current legislation
  • Role & Duties of the Fire Warden – from day-to-day checks to leading safe evacuations
  • Types of Fire & Extinguishers – how to choose the right extinguisher and use it safely, including a live demo
  • Evacuation Procedures – sweep searches, managing vulnerable people, roll call, and assembly point responsibilities
  • Best Practice in Workplace Fire Safety – housekeeping, signage, drills, and emergency planning
  • False Alarms & NIFRS Response Policy (2024 changes) – what they mean for your business and how to reduce unnecessary call-outs
  • Interactive Quiz – test your knowledge in a fun, engaging way
