Fire Prevention Safety Day is coming to downtown Durango on October 11, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Durango Fire & Rescue, LPCSAR, and others are teaming up to bring you an awesome event focused on keeping your home safe, especially when it comes to lithium-ion batteries. We'll be on Main Street right next to Buckley Park, so you can easily pop over while you’re enjoying the Apple Days festival and the farmers market.
