Fire Poker/Marshmallow Roasting Stick Class at War Horse Forge

At War Horse Forge, veterans, active duty military, and first responders learn blacksmithing skills using traditional techniques. Our programs are located on our farm in Stafford, Virginia.

In this class, you will forge a fire poker with a twist on the handle and a hook to hang it from. Or choose to make a marshmallow roasting stick for creating smores. You can have a battle buddy who is not military or first responder attend with you. However, each attendee must register individually and be at least 18 years old. The class is limited to12 people.

The only fee is $25 to register for the class. Upon completion of the class, you can choose to have your $25 refunded or donate it to War Horse Forge. We hope this nominal (and refundable) fee will ensure those who sign-up for a class do show up as we often have waitlists. If this fee is a hardship, please call us and we will work with you (540/538-7453).
