Fire Play Training

Fire has many uses from providing heat for warmth and cooking, as a focal point for various activities and boosting morale. Over the past year we have all been encouraged to be outdoors more and building a small campfire or cooking over a fire is a great activity to do with children as long as it's done safely. Children are naturally curious about fire, and with adult supervision, fire play can become a regular and rewarding aspect of play.

Our half day fire play training course is perfect to help provide insight into the benefits, how to light a fire, safety and fire play skills. This course will give you the confidence to embrace fire play skills within your own setting.

We advise that you wear comfortable clothing with layers suitable for a day outdoors in close proximity with smoke.

Cancellation Policy:

CANCELLATION OF BOOKING BY THE DELEGATE

Training course cancellations must be submitted in writing to Smart Play Network by e-mailing [email protected] with as much notice as possible. Please note that if we receive your e-mail over the weekend, the notice will start on the following business day. Registrant substitutions may be made at any time.

No training course fee

9-5 business days:

50% of the training course fee

Less than 5 business days:

75% of the training course fee

Last minute cancellations and no shows

Full payment of the training course fee

CANCELLATION OF BESPOKE TRAINING COURSES AND GROUP BOOKINGS

In case of a group booking cancellation, the fees above will be applied to the full price of the group booking. Where possible, we will work with the organisation to reschedule the course instead of cancelling it.

CANCELLATION OF COURSE BY SMART PLAY NETWORK

• Smart Play Network reserves the right to cancel or change a training course for a variety of reasons including but not limited to, lack of participation, adverse weather conditions and trainer availability.

• Should in an unfortunate situation this be required:

• Smart Play Network will provide as much notice as possible to the registered attendees.

• Registrants will not be charged for the course.

• Smart Play Network is not liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential or special damages caused by cancellation of a scheduled training course, including, but not limited to, cancellation penalties for transportation or accommodations.

Therefore, any activities used outside the training setting must be risk assessed by the individual conducting the activity. Smart Play Network is not liable for damages of any kind resulting of the training materials or for any damages resulting from the use of the training materials or other information conveyed at a Smart Play Network training course.
