“The time has come to turn your heart into a temple of fire.” – RumiLet your passions burn with Sacred and Profane in February! We will sing fiery songs of love from the Renaissance to today, including Thomas Morley’s Fire, Fire and Morten Lauridsen’s Madrigali: Six 'Fire Songs' on Italian Renaissance Poems. We will present new works by contemporary composers Dominick DiOrio and Reena Esmail. We are excited to sing Bay area composer and conductor Darita Seth’s I See Fire and premiere a new work by Sacred and Profane’s Assistant Conductor Edna Yeh.
