About this Event

Newhall Fields is thrilled to offer our sixth annual Fire Cider workshop led by our herbalist and perennial grower, Rebecca Ingalls with local herbalist Kasey Sampson. This autumn, we are expanding the day to also offer a pop-up Herb Market, as well as an additional Plant Meditation, both of which are free and open to the public.
Join us at the farm Sunday October 19th to participate in the Make Your Own Fire Cider Workshop, where you are able to craft your own custom Fire Cider tonic blend from roots, vegetables and herbs grown right here at the farm. All supplies including jars, instructions and ingredients will be provided.
We will also be hosting a pop-up Herb Market in the hoop house for those who would like to purchase dried culinary and medicinal herbs- grown organically, harvested ethically, dried sustainably, processed, and packaged by Newhall Fields volunteers and staff with the utmost care here in Peabody. Pre-batched farm Fire Cider, fresh herbs, fall wreaths, honey from this land, complimentary iced & hot tea from the herb garden will also be available.
This event is $40 suggested donation for the Fire Cider Workshop only - in order to cover the cost of materials and supplies- but our events are all sliding scale. Please donate as little or as much as you would like. If you are a Card 2 Culture member, please email [email protected] for an access code for free tickets to the workshop.
The herb market and plant meditation are open to all- no prior registration necessary. Please join us to enjoy the beauty of the farm at this special time of year!
