A relaxed programme of sessions featuring uplifting, accessible songs chosen and led by experienced vocal leader and acclaimed musician Beccy Owen.
~ All voices, levels of experience and perceived musical ability are welcome.
~ Family-, LGBTQ+ and Neurodivergent-friendly space.
~ Newcomers, nervous-singers and beginners especially encouraged!
~ No audition and no solos (unless you want one!)
~ All guidance, material and resources provided.
~ Fully accessible venue.
NB: This is NOT a drop-in session.
To take part you will ideally be able to attend a minimum of 6 out of 8 sessions, in order to help create a consistent and thriving group-sound and for you to keep up with the repertoire.
If you’ve worked with Beccy before some of the repertoire may already be familiar to you. We will always recap and re-learn everything from scratch to bring everybody in to the fold.
There is potential for a few (optional) public performance opportunities for the group during and after the 8-week programme finishes over the spring and summer (these are TBC and may partly be generated by the group ourselves)
Bring yourself, your voice and bottle of water; along with a willingness to make a sound with others, receive expert musical direction and have some fun.
