Winter offers the perfect opportunity to explore the night sky with its long nights, clear skies, and shifting seasonal constellations. Join us at Hudson Crossing Park for a guided stargazing experience on or near the night of the new moon, when the skies are at their darkest and the stars shine brightest.Participants can enjoy warming up by the fire pit, located behind the park pavilion to reduce light pollution, while sipping on complimentary hot cider or cocoa. Afterward, venture back out to the HCP field for more magical moments under the stars.
Thanks to a generous grant from the NYS Canal Corporation, this event is free!
Group size limited to 25 per excursion. All abilities and disabilities are welcome. There is a space on the registration form to request necessary accommodations. Register at the link below:
