Meet at: Alger Park and Ride, I5 Exit 240
We will travel to Fir Island and search for birds at Wylie Slough and Hayton Road and other parts of Fir Island and will be searching for Raptors, Shorebirds, Snow Geese, Trumpeter Swans, Owls, waterfowl and any other interesting birds that happen to be around. The trip will begin and end at the Alger Park and Ride, I5 Exit 240. Arrive early so we can leave promptly at 8:30 am. We will carpool in 3 cars (4 in each car) while we search for birds. Please consider driving and bring a Discover Pass. Bring water, hot beverages, snacks and lunch to eat on the run. Dress to keep dry and warm and bring binoculars and a spotting scope if you happen to have one.
