Jon Hooker will be the featured artist at this year’s Fingerpicking Delights concert, which is also celebrating its 10th Anniversary. Jon will be joined by Laura Tomlin Taylor on vocals and by his son, Jack Hooker, on guitar.
Arriving from the U.K. in 1986, Jon has had the privilege of performing with many fine N.Z. artists. His appreciation of the Blues was developed with singer/songwriter, Izzy Miller Bell, along with harmonica virtuoso, Billy Vallance, while his obvious Folk roots were further enhanced, as member of RUA and Emeralds & Greenstone.
Most recently, Jon has concentrated on recording original compositions, including a CD of guitar pieces with his son Jack.
