About this Event

Glenora Wine Cellars, which opened in 1977, is the oldest winery on Seneca Lake. This fall, they are our featured winery of the season! Winemaker Edward Miller will be joining us for an in depth and behind the scenes exploration of Glenora's varied wine portfolio. Edward’s winemaking background has taken him to Sonoma, Napa, New Zealand, Western Australia, and Italy where he earned his Master’s Degree in Viticulture & Enology from Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Piacenza, Italy. We are thrilled to have him back in New York! He will speak on the history of the winery and how it has evolved in tandem with the growth of the Finger Lakes region since their founding in 1977. He will take you on a “Tour de Flavor” selection of wines from dry to sweet as he explains the wine styles, histories, idiosyncrasies, his own winemaking philosophy, as well as the strengths and opportunities of the Finger Lakes region as a whole.
