About this courseThis course builds on the skills and techniques learnt in Finding your Voice: Vocal Talent Workshop, aiming to consolidate your breathing technique and help you release the natural and organic voice within. We’ll work with Feldenkrais, Pilates and holistic singing techniques and work towards a cabaret presentation in the final week, comprising songs, duets and group songs, which reflect the vocal journey of each singer enrolled in the course. PRE-REQUISITE: to enrol in this course you must have completed Finding Your Voice: Vocal Talent Workshop or have some solo singing experience and some understanding of vocal production.

Additional Information: Soprano and singing teacher Fleur loves singing and teaching others to sing in all styles. She has a Bachelor of Music Performance in Voice from the Victorian College of the Arts, (University of Melbourne) and a Bachelor of Arts, in Drama and Art History from the ANU. In 2009 she returned from Europe, having performed in recital in London, Germany and Switzerland, her initial travels supported by a Youth Music Foundation of Australia scholarship. She has performed in both opera and recital. Her company ‘Fleur-de-lys Vocal Enterprises’ teaches students of a variety of ages, cultural backgrounds and experience.
