Award-winning writer and experienced creative writing teacher Emily Perkins will lead an interactive workshop on finding the right voice for your fiction. Finding the right voice is essential for getting a writing project off the ground. The point of view, sounds, rhythms and vocabulary of your prose all profoundly affect the story you are telling.
In this workshop you will look at where your voice comes from, how it sounds on the page, ways to experiment with finding the right voice for your story, and different approaches when you’re stuck.
The workshop costs $30 and includes morning tea. Registration required.
