Are you a high school or college musical theater performer thinking about your future? You are invited to join three-time Tony nominee Keven Chamberlin and American Idol Pianist, Vocal Coach, and Associate Musical Director Michael Orland. You will prepare a musical theater song, and Kevin and Michael will work with you in front of the class, looking to find the truth and the theatricality of the song and the character - and also guiding you through audition anxieties, singing technique, and focus. The session ends with an extensive Q&A/conversation about making it in show business, how to get an agent, surviving in New York or Los Angeles’s competitive market, and most importantly - how to book a job on Broadway, TV and Film.
