Participants will take part in guided comedy writing, group sharing, and improv activities to explore emotions and cope with new experiences, with each session centered on a theme chosen by the teens and therapist. They will learn comedic techniques—such as storytelling, exaggeration, character work, and joke timing—while practicing respect, inclusion, and emotional safety to better understand themselves and connect with others. By using humor to reframe challenges, teens gain emotional openness, social connection, and resilience they can carry into other parts of their lives.
