About this Event
UCB has proudly formed an alliance with Spectrum Laboratory to make space to connect, play and learn about the unique experiences, challenges and perspectives of students, creators and performers who identify as neurodiverse.
Featuring an improv performance, a panel discussion and one big JAM with the students and players from Spectrum Laboratory, a 501C3 teaching and performing arts company, we invite you to join to celebrate neurological differences and inclusion within the comedic arts as we explore the following:
- Defining and understanding neurodiversity
- The benefits and challenges of having a neurodivergent diagnosis
- Positive examples of support and insight to help neurodivergent folks connect, collaborate and play in the comedic arts
Proceeds benefit Spectrum Laboratory (speclabs.org), a nonprofit 501C3 that educates autistic and neurodivergent artists in acting, film, music and animation.
