Finding Peace in the Postures is a weekend workshop designed to help you reconnect to your body, your breath, and your inner landscape. Rooted in the therapeutic and alignment-focused methodology of Yoga on the Inside, this immersion is about feeling your way in, rather than forcing your way through.
Over the course of three days, you’ll be guided through intentional movement practices that gently build strength, restore mobility, regulate the nervous system, and most importantly—create a sense of peace within each posture.
Whether you’re new to yoga or looking to refine and soften your practice, this journey invites you to move inward with compassion, curiosity, and presence. Each day blends mindful asana, restorative postures, pranayama, and reflection, deepening the connection between your body and your mind.
Eddie Bio
Eddie Modestini is a senior yoga teacher with over 40 years of experience, known for his deep understanding of alignment, mindfulness, and the mind-body connection. A teacher of teachers, Eddie offers rigorous and transformative trainings, workshops and intensives that integrate strength, flexibility, and meditative awareness. His compassionate yet precise approach empowers students of all levels to deepen their practice, cultivate self-awareness, and experience yoga as a path to inner peace.

September 26, 2024 Friday 6-8pm Relax Deeply
Relax Deeply invites you to leave the stresses of the outside world behind and surrender to the present moment. You will be guided through a series of restorative poses, designed to release tension and promote profound relaxation. With each breath, you'll sink deeper into a state of calm, letting go of worries and embracing the blissful stillness within.
September 27, 2024 Saturday 9am - 12pm Feet, Knees and Hips
In this class, we will embark on a journey of mindful movement, subtle mechanics and nourishing care for the joints of our lower body. We will engage in a series of poses designed to improve flexibility, strength, and alignment in our feet, knees, and hips. Each asana will offer therapeutic benefits, alleviating any accumulated tension and promoting joint health. As you explore this practice, you'll cultivate a deeper connection with these vital areas of your body, fostering not only physical well-being but also a harmonious flow of energy throughout.
September 27, 2024 Saturday 2 - 4pm Neck & Shoulders
Dissolve the burdens of modern living and release tension held within the often-neglected neck and shoulders. Throughout this session, Eddie and Kristin will guide you through a series of stretches and targeted movements, specifically designed to ease stiffness and discomfort in this region. You will learn to soften these areas, allowing space for relaxation and rejuvenation. Whether you spend long hours at a desk or carry stress in your upper body, this practice will provide relief and restore balance. As you surrender to the practice, you'll unlock the potential for profound release and improved posture. September 28, 2024 Sunday 9am - 12pm Backbends for a Healthy Spine
Your spine is the central pillar of your body, and this session is dedicated to nurturing and strengthening it. We will explore a variety of safe and invigorating backbending poses that encourage flexibility, improve posture, and stimulate the energy flow along the spine. Each carefully sequenced movement will allow you to release any tension and embrace a sense of freedom. As you open your heart and expand your chest, you'll cultivate a deeper connection with your body's wisdom and experience a surge of positivity and vitality.
