About this Event
Day to day life can be very hectic and it's easy to feel busy, distracted much of the time, overwhelmed with work, family, and other responsibilities. This can often result in a lack of focus or concentration, and lead to feelings of anxiety, sadness, or frustration. Developing a mindfulness practice can aid in finding your inner Buddha-Nature for the development of inner peace, happiness, contentment, and joy.
In this retreat we will have group sutta and dharma discussions and activities. Bhante Sujatha will be guiding you through this wonderful day of self-exploration.
From 9AM to 3PM we will be practicing loving kindness meditation, talking about the Dharma and sutras, walking meditation, and we will have coffee and tea available. There will be a break for lunch where there will be traditional Sri Lankan food served buffet style. All will be vegan and gluten free.
The cost is $95 which will help Bhante Sujatha with his charity projects in Sri Lanka including raising funds for the women's hospital in his hometown of Peradeniye, Sri Lanka.
