Finding Freedom through Self Acceptance

Join Kirtan at Shuniya Yoga Collective (or online) for a transformational afternoon to reconnect to the wisdom of our bodies and discover inner freedom.
Accepting ourselves unconditionally means that we make peace and forgive the parts of ourselves that are learning and imperfect. This will always be our process as humans. We recognize that our limitations are part of our uniqueness and that the destination of perfection is an illusion and what may keep us from a happy life.
In this workshop we will practice meditation and mindfulness exercises like RAIN (Recognize, Allow, Investigate and Nurture), journaling prompts and gentle yoga to open to a new way of being with yourself. We will look at Tara Brach’s book, Radical Self Acceptance, to guide us in discussion and practice of this way of being.
Radical Self Acceptance is loving yourself. It is being in touch with ourselves in a mindful open way - holding kindness, compassion and self love because we are aligned with our truthful journey. Join us as we reignite our own Radical Self Acceptance!
“Feeling compassion for ourselves in no way releases us from responsibility for our actions. Rather, it releases us from the self-hatred that prevents us from responding to our life with clarity and balance.” — Tara Brach
