About this Event
Join Alicia May for a fun-filled exploration of the human voice!
The main goal of this workshop is to create a safe and encouraging environment so that every singer can build a more positive relationship with their body and their singing voice.
Participants will be singing vocal warmups/exercises and learning parts of well-known songs as a group. In between singing, participants will also learn about vocal anatomy and singing technique.
This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners, but will also suit singers with some experience who want to deepen their understanding of how the voice works.
This workshop is for young people aged 13+ for youth & intergenerational participants. Beginner singers welcome. All welcome.
