Empowering young people with information and tools regarding their personal safety as early as possible equips them with foundational knowledge and skill set. This when embedded early on could help minimize danger and threat from entering into their lives later on. The ability to protect your child at all costs is every parent’s goal.

This personal safety and self protection course will cover fundamentals to age appropriate personal safety subject matters. It aims to educate key personal safety criteria’s on how to avoid, de-escalate and then ultimately how to manage a threatening scenario when all else fails.

Jen is always working towards self development as a Trainer, Coach and Instructor on personal safety and self protection. She continues to grow and develop through performance training with international self protection experts. Jen also continues to train as a martial arts practitioner and in combat sports with over 25 years of experience in her field.

Jen’s proficiency originates from Muay Thai kickboxing and Krav Maga.

She is a Black Belt ranked member of Krav Maga Force and FIMA and is a designated Bodyguard and an active member of the International Body Association. Jen practices as a Personal Trainer part time and trains and collaborates with VPD and members of the Women’s Personal Safety team.

Jen is also the only civilian personal safety and self protection Instructor of this caliber in Canada.”
