This is 4-week series designed to introduce you to a strong yoga practice. You will benefit from this investment 1) if you’ve ever been interested in yoga but don’t know where to start, 2) if you’ve tried yoga but felt left behind, or 3) if you’ve been away from your practice for a long time. This is a judgment free series made for you.In each class you will:
-Become familiar with foundational yoga poses
-Learn to modify your practice for injuries or accessibility
-Learn to improve overall body awareness, balance, and flexibility
-Receive an introduction to breathing techniques and meditation for stress reduction
Prerequisites: No yoga experience is required but if getting up and down off the floor is a challenge we recommend our Chair Yoga class!
Your questions will be answered in a small class environment. Yoga mats and props are available to borrow for free, or you may bring your own. Space is limited - please register today to save your spot!
