About this Event
Ideal for: Ages 0-15 years
Led by the wonderfully enthusiastic Vie Portland, this session is all about family, being together and empowering each other. It’s dedicated time for children and their grown-ups to come together to be reminded just how fabulous they are! There will be a story, activities, singing, and definitely some silliness!
Author and educator Vie Portland is the founder of Vieness, a Community Interest Company that teaches self-esteem and confidence workshops to children, young people, and women, in schools, groups, libraries, and organisations. She’s also the author of inclusive children's picture books, Where Are We Going? and Who Am I?.
Tickets are free. Please book tickets individually so we have information for each person attending.
There is on-street parking nearby. The main entrance is up several steps with double doors that open away from you. To get to the children's section, you will need to go through the main library. You can access the children's section through the entrance further down Dean Lane, which has a ramp and automatic double-width doors. There are accessible toilets and baby changing on the first floor, which is accessed by a lift.
