21 December 2-5pmHold a moment of stillness in the midst of the winter festivals - take some time on Solstice Day to connect and make your own Winter Goddess painting.
We will use traditional icon painting methods and materials: egg tempera paint, earth pigments and water to make A4 paintings of your own Winter Goddess.
Suitable for beginners as well as experienced painters, this time will be for meditative and intuitive connection with winter's energies: retreat, hibernation, and observing the still point of the sun. Using templates and transfer techniques, or generating yor own creative vision, you will have a beautiful and enduring painting that can remind you to breathe with the Winter Goddess throughout the season.
Held at Stroud Brewery, there is lift access, plenty of space, and a great bar where you can find drinks and nourishment and bring them with you to the painting space.
