About this Event
What to Expect
Singapore's last remaining Hakka cemetery, the Yin Fo Kun cemetery at Shuang Long Shan Wu Shu Ancestral Hall, may be better known as a path for neighbouring Holland Close residents to access public transportation from their homes. From easement rows to redevelopment threats, the many neat rows of tiled tombstones have thus far stood the test of time, and have become a part of Holland Close residents' daily lives. Hear about how the remaining patch was once a much larger plot of land, and how association members continue traditions such as Qing Ming to this day.
