Attendees of the class will have an enhanced knowledge set for better serving first time homebuyer. Agents that have completed the course will also be better representatives for their seller’s receiving offers from first time homebuyers.
Topics include understanding the motivation and obstacles to homeownership of many FTHBs, an overview of the different types of loans with a deeper dive into how being a first time homebuyer impacts the financing for different loan types, an overview of the various down payment assistance programs available to buyers in the area with highlighting the strengths of each program and when it might be most applicable to their buyer’s scenario, and creative solutions for overcoming common challenges.
