Community members are invited to attend financial lessons designed to help attendees be more informed and prepared for their financial lives. Both classes are free and will be held at Civic Center Library, located at 1188 South Livermore Avenue. Understand, recognize, and avoid financial fraud, which disproportionately affects older individuals. Learn why seniors are targeted by scammers, the warning signs of scams, and how people can protect themselves. This session will be facilitated by Lynell Bevels, Community Lending Officer at Umpqua Bank.
Understanding and Preparing Your Credit for Home Buying

Learn how one’s credit affects large purchase planning, such as buying a home, and how to build it safely for this significant life event. This session will be facilitated by Jule Dildine, Napa - Bel Aire Branch Manager at Umpqua Bank.
