Learn more about financial empowerment with two separate sessions with Financial Beginnings. Goals & Tools: Oct 19 at the Main Library
Students develop short, intermediate, and long-term goals, and learn the tools to attain goals, such as banking and budgeting.
Credit & Debt: Nov. 2 at the Evergreen Branch
Students learn the importance of maintaining strong credit, and how to find and monitor their own credit report and score. This also covers different loan types, and how these loans play a role in large purchase planning.
Sign up for one or both classes here beginning on Sept. 30. This program will be cancelled if minimum registration is not met by Oct 16.
Financial Beginnings is a national nonprofit that provides accessible and unbiased financial education programming to youth and adults in schools and community-based organizations across the country.
