About this Event
This showcase is the culmination of two-weeks of filmmaking frenzy, featuring Bay Area storytellers participating in the AI Short-Film Challenge.
Come experience the energy and imagination of filmmakers who’ve used AI tools to support their production process in ways that are responsible and intentional to enhance their human-centered storytelling, polish their workflows, and stretch their creativity.
At this live screening marathon, you will:
- View ten original 5-minute short videos made by selected filmmakers who participated in this two-week challenge and hear them describe how they used AI in their workflow.
- Hear from a panel of AI and filmmaking experts give their feedback to each team.
- Participate in the audience feedback survey and voting (your voice counts!).
- Enjoy light refreshments and fun conversation during our awards mixer.
Top films will receive prizes, social media features, and, of course, bragging rights.
This event is open to all filmmakers, students, creative technologists, and community members curious about the intersection of AI and storytelling. Come see how the next generation of indie filmmakers is redefining what’s possible.
Join us for an afternoon of innovation, community, and inspiration—where Bay Area creativity meets the future of filmmaking.
