Marilyn Wilcox graduated with a BFA in Studio Art from Colorado Mesa University in May of 2013. She found her voice with portraiture and figurative work using oils and acrylics on canvas and panels. Her work is filled with energy and expression and her color palette ranges from hazy deep purples to bright red and orange hues. Her growth as an artist at CMU was filled with experimentation that led to her current direction of realism mixed with abstraction.
