Final Fling 2024 will be hosted at Northern Illinois University Convocation Center, DeKalb, Illinois as we are “Welcomed Back” to the their expansive facility and their wonderful staff!“Final Fling” for this season has been chosen by our Member Organizations to be a competition by “The Numbers” whereby teams DO NOT compete against another team but, performs to achieve a high enough score to earn a “BID” to State 2024. Each year this event “see’s record registrations” as we head to the LAST chance to earn a Bid for State 2024.
Final fling is an Illinois Cheer Association Qualifying Event. As such, first place finishers will automatically receive a Bid to the ICA State Cheer Championship to be held at the NIU Convocation Center in DeKalb, Illinois on November 14th—17th, 2024.
As with ALL of our events, there is NO SPECTATOR FEES to enter into the facility to watch your team(s) compete.
We do monitored for building capacity with the Fire Marshall and we can halt entrance for life-safety reasons!
