About this Event
The Fan Festival 2023-2024 is the fifth major event of its kind for FINAL FANTASY XIV. This global event is taking place across three different regions, in three major cities: Las Vegas, London and Tokyo! It’s a massive event built just for fans and features exciting announcements, development panels, in-game activities, merchandise, as well as amazing opportunities to play together in both in-game and live activities. It’s also a great place to meet up with your fellow players and win some cool prizes!

By purchasing a ticket, you understand and agree to the following:
What time is the show open?
Fan Festival 2023 in London will take place on Saturday, 21 October and Sunday, 22 October 2023. As with previous years, we expect the opening and closing times to be the same for the 2023 event, opening at 10am local time in London on the Saturday and finishing at 9pm on the Sunday.
These timings are subject to change and will be confirmed at a later date.
Purchasing more than one ticket
Ticket purchases will be limited to two (2) per person.
If purchasing more than one ticket, please ensure that the correct names and email addresses of each ticket holder are used as they will need to match the valid photo ID checked on site for the event registration and access.
Eligibility and ID requirements
You must be over 16 years of age in order to attend the Fan Festival at London.
- Visitors that are 16 years of age or older will need to present a valid photo ID in order to gain entry to the event.
- Visitors younger than 16 years of age must be present with a legal guardian at all times while at the event and may not be able to play the game.
- Some content may not be suitable for children.
*Each attendee (including accompanying adults) will need his/her own ticket to access the event.
What is accepted as valid ID?
Acceptable forms of ID to prove your age include:
- a photo driving licence
- a passport
- a national identity card
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
No, tickets are non-transferable. IDs will be checked at registration and entry is only to persons matching the name on the ticket with identification.

What is the refund policy?
No refunds, all sales are final. Please ensure all of your plans are in order before you purchase tickets. If you attempt to resell your tickets, they will become automatically void and you will not be entitled to a refund.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, Square Enix Ltd shall issue refunds to original ticket purchasers upon request if Square Enix Ltd cancels the entire event. All such refunds will be strictly limited to the amount the original ticket purchaser paid for the ticket on the Eventbrite website. Please contact Square Enix Ltd at the applicable link below to request a refund if Square Enix Ltd cancels the entire event. Square Enix Ltd will respond to refund enquiries within five business days.
Will it be recorded?
Yes, our events are recorded. Footage will be used on our website, social media and elsewhere for marketing and business purposes. By purchasing a ticket you or your legal guardian agree and consent to you being recorded at this event and your likeness being used in this way.
Health and Safety, Security and Square Enix’s liability
You will follow all health and safety instructions, guidelines, or standards issued by governmental authorities, as well as any health and safety instructions, guidelines we issue and may be posted on-site at the venue. You also agree that you will follow all instructions from security and event staff on the day for your own safety.
If you are feeling unwell on the day, we ask that you do not attend the event for your safety and the safety of others. If you attend this event, there is an inherent risk of exposure to a communicable disease (e.g. COVID-19) and you are voluntarily assuming the risk of such exposure.
In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by Square Enix, your participation at this event, or, any equipment made available to you, is entirely at your risk. You agree to waive and release, to the fullest extent permitted by law, any and all claims, whether known or unknown, against Square Enix and its directors, officers, employees, contractors and/or agents relating to any claims arising from this event including, but not limited to, claims for personal injury, property damage, economic loss or wrongful death (other than in respect of personal injury or death due to the Square Enix’s negligence) or any other indirect, consequential or incidental loss (e.g. travel, accommodation or catering expenses). Nothing herein will limit any liability in relation to fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Attendee behaviour
We reserve the right to deny admission or entry to the venue, or, eject and ban you from the venue, without refund, liability or compensation as a result of: (1) failure to comply with these rules; (2) any illegal, unsafe, offensive or threatened behaviour which event staff could reasonably consider to be disruptive to this event; and (3) circumstances which event staff determine to impact the safety and security of this event or causes physical property damage to the venue or other attendee’s belongings.
How will my personal information be used?
Your personal information will be required by Eventbrite to process and complete your purchase for the event tickets. The event tickets will be emailed to the supplied email addresses, for each ticket submitted during the purchase process.
After that, Square Enix will use the name(s) and email address(es) you supplied for ID checks at registration on site.
After the event, Square Enix may use the email address(es) you provided to send a short optional online survey out to all attendees to gain your valuable feedback and opinions on the event. This will help us improve our future events to provide customers and even better experience.
The personal information you provide will not be used for any other purpose and will be stored by Square Enix for a period of no longer than 12 months, before being securely deleted.
