Pirmasis ilgo metro lietuviškas stereoskopinis (3D) filmas nukelia į XIX a. pabaigos vasarą Dzūkijos gamtos apsuptyje. Artinasi audra. Vešlūs miškai ir krūmynai knibžda paslapčių. Dvaro šeimininkas, susižavėjęs naujausia tų dienų fotografijos mada, žiūrinėja stereoskopines nuotraukas. Kitame kambaryje tarnaitė jo dukrai pasakoja apie raganas ir laumes. Tuo metu du muzikantai, keliaudami į kaimo susiėjimą, ima nebeskirti, kur realybė, o kur fantazija. Atėję jie vietoje linksmybių kartu su visais įtraukiami į pomirtinių vestuvių ritualą.

✧° Deimantas Narkevičius yra video ir instaliacijų menininkas, kino režisierius ir profesorius, apdovanotas Lietuvos nacionaline kultūros ir meno premija. Jo kūrybai būdinga asmeninė istorijos refleksija, dabarties sąsajų su praeitimi ir ateities vizijomis, paieškos. Deimanto Narkevičiaus darbai yra eksponuoti 25-iose tarptautinėse meno bienalėse, tarp jų Venecijos, San Paulo ir Kvandžiu ir daugiau nei 40 solo parodų tarptautinės svarbos meno institucijose. Jo darbų yra įsigyję kelios dešimtys meno institucijų bei privačių kolekcionierių, tarp jų MoMA Niujorke, Pompidou Paryžiuje, Tate Modern Londone. Režisieriaus trumpo metro filmai apkeliavo apie 50 tarptautinių kino festivalių. 2018 m. filmas „Dėmės ir įbrėžimai“ Oberhauzeno trumpųjų filmų festivalyje buvo apdovanotas pagrindiniu prizu. Pirmojo Deimanto Narkevičiaus ilgo metro filmo „Čiulbanti siela“ premjera įvyko Marselio FID festivalyje.

The first Lithuanian stereoscopic (3D) feature looks back to the end of the 19th century, a summer day in Dzūkija. The storm is approaching. Lush forests and bushes are rustling with secrets. The owner of a manor, fascinated by the newest trend in photography, is viewing stereoscopic images. Next door, a maid is telling his daughter stories of witches and fairies. Meanwhile, two musicians are traveling to the village gathering, unable to discern reality from fantasy on their way. Upon arrival, instead of the feast, they are drawn along with everyone else into the ritual of an afterlife wedding.

✧° Deimantas Narkevičius, is video and installations artist, film director, professor and a winner of the Lithuanian National Prize. In his works he often reflects on personal histories, explores the connections between the present and the past or visions of the future. DeiMantas Narkevičius’ works have been exhibited at 25 international art biennials, including Venice, São Paulo, Gwangju, and over 40 solo exhibitions at art institutions of international importance.
His works have been acquired and exhibited by dozens of art institutions and private collectors, including MoMA in New York, the Pompidou Centre in Paris, and the Tate Modern in London. Films by Narkevičius have been screened at 50 international film festivals. In 2018, the short film Stains and Scratches was awarded the main prize at the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival. The feature debut Twittering Soul premiered at the FIDMarseille festival in 2023.
